BlazeTamer™ evaluations continue with the first fixed-wing air drops conducted today with outstanding success.
Further Helicopter and fixed-wing trials are scheduled for the coming weeks
Another Australian evaluation of BlazeTamer™ fire suppression capabilities was recently conducted, this time at the WorkCover testing facility at Londonderry, NSW.
BlazeTamer™ successfully extinguished a 4F rated fire with a 9 litre water-enhanced fire extinguisher.
In the same testing session BlazeTamer™ successfully extinguished a 3A rated crib fire with a 6 litre water-enhanced fire extinguisher.
Newly released results from an almond trial at AJS Pierson & Son, Virginia, show strong bottom-line benefits for growers.
Trial results show a net saving to growers of $113.74 per Ha.
Savings were realized in reduced energy and water costs over the growing season. The “new” AquaBoost™ formula has been shown to increase net savings by a further $46 per Ha.

Australian evaluation of BlazeTamer™’s fire suppression capabilities
was conducted during crib testing at the CFA facility in Fiskville,
Victoria.

Potato growers have long used AquaBoost™ to increased yields and reduce water and nutrient costs.
Recently, however, AquaBoost™ users in the potato industry have reported substantial savings in energy costs. In a centre pivot on hydrophobic sands the addition of AquaBoost™ to the initial “wet up” irrigation reduced the normally required 3 rotations of the pivot back to only 2.
The
approximate cost of diesel to turn a centre pivot one rotation on a
36 Ha crop is $800. The outlay for AquaBoost™ (at 5 L/Ha) is $792
making the use of AquaBoost™ cost neutral even before the benefits of
increased yield and the decrease in water required are considered.
